Funded by the Jockey Club Charity Trust and organised by CarbonCare Innovation Lab, the JC COIL Incubation Programme is designed to equip passionate climate innovators with the necessary skills and knowledge to develop high-impact solutions to tackle climate change. As Cycle 4 of this incubation programme starts, we welcome applications from those with innovative ideas. From providing training to start-up funding, we will help turn your ideas into reality!

Four teams which best fit our criteria will be shortlisted from open application to form 4 InnoTeams. These selected teams will proceed to the next stage and receive a series of start-up training in the form of workshops. The aim of these workshops is to help them enhance and test-run their project ideas.

Each InnoTeam will receive professional coaching for six months. A grant of HK$8,000 will be given to the teams to test the feasibility of their project ideas and to study the response of their target clients or customers. After refining their project based on empirical data, these teams are ready to enter the final pitch.

To pitch for their project kick-start fund, these four teams are required to present their ideas in front of a judging panel made up of corporate representatives, environmental experts, as well as members of the public in September, 2019.
